Questions?
How can you offer ANY talent I am looking for?
We belong to a vast network of promotional companies. If we are not
directly responsible for your requested talent, we probably are directly
linked to the company that is!
Won't that be more expensive than going directly to that talent's
agency?
No. In our network system, promotional companies work on discounted
rates; often ending up LESS expensive than direct hiring!
The act is the one paying the commission for the agency not the buyer, which is often a misconception.
Determine a budget
What is your budget for the entire show? Remember to include the price
of the act, transportation, accommodations, catering, artist rider requirements,
insurance, technical production, and labor. Onsite production for this
show is available for an additional fee.
How to choose the right entertainment
Once you have decided on the type of entertainment that fits your event,
we will provide you with a list of artists/celebrities that fit your
request and your budget.
How far out should I book entertainment?
As soon as you have a budget and a specific date set, you should contact TEI. This way we can secure the date with
the band/act, and negotiate terms to draw up a contract.
Tell us about your event/venue
Determine the date, venue, attendance, age range of the guests and the
type of entertainment desired (National recording star, sports celebrity,
comedian, or keynote speaker). Does your venue provide a stage, sound, and lighting?
Make an offer
Once you have selected your entertainment, you will fax TEI a firm offer
to the act. When the offer is delivered to the management of the artist,
it is their decision whether or not to accept your terms and confirm
your date.
Do you require a down-payment, and if so, when?
Only after all arrangements have been agreed upon, is a small 50% down-payment
required to accompany the signed contract.
What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept all checks or money orders.
REMEMBER: Once you have made this signed offer in writing, and
it is accepted by the artists' representatives, you have bought an act
and you are legally committed.
What happens next?
The deposit is due -
After the artist has accepted your offer, a contract is issued and a
50% deposit is due immediately. TEI will review that contract and rider with you in detail
and assist with any questions you may have.
Payment schedule -
The balance of the artist fees are due prior to the performance.
Now it's time for you to have fun and enjoy your event!
