Northern Heat is a mixture of styles and sounds from the '50s to the '90s, featuring Jason Powell (formally of the Ridge Brothers Band) on lead/backing vocals, drums, and bass; Don Powell (founder of the Ridge Brothers band) on lead/backing vocals, rhythm guitar, and keyboards; Ron Ramsey (of Foothill Express) on lead/backing vocals, and lead guitar; Nick Taylor on drums; and Jason Powell, Jr. on rhythm guitar.
They have appeared at Colusa Casino, Gold Country Casino, Rolling Hills Casino, Konocti Harbor Resort, various rodeos and fairs, and annual fireman's dances from Sacramento to Redding, along with weddings and other private events. The band has shared the stage with CCR, 38 Special, Charlie Daniels Band, and more. This band is here to please the crowd; hear it, see it, feel it!
